Black History Month lessons

Mt. Pleasant Elementary School students are celebrating Black History Month by researching and honoring the contributions, accomplishments, and lives that African Americans have made throughout history, and how they have helped shape the nation. Fifth graders are making a collaborative quilt which will feature influential African Americans.
