Big things happening at Great Hollow!

The Smithtown Central School District is welcoming Jennifer Caldwell as the new assistant principal of Great Hollow Middle School.

With 25 years of educational experience, Ms. Caldwell brings a passion for student success, relationship-building and creating positive learning environments. Throughout her career in the North Babylon School District, she has served students in a variety of roles, most recently, as dean of students at the middle school level, partnering closely with students, families, faculty, and staff to foster a supportive and engaging school community.

Ms. Caldwell earned her undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's College, her master's degree from Hofstra University, and completed educational leadership studies at Stony Brook University. She also holds New York State certifications in elementary education, special education, reading, school district leader and school building leader.

"I am beyond excited to begin this next chapter in my educational career," said Ms. Caldwell. "I look forward to building strong relationships with students, families, faculty, staff, and the community, and I am eager to work collaboratively to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging school environment."
