Dogwood students learned about making healthy food choices and celebrated "Big Apple Crunch Day" this week. Students wore the colors of their favorite apple, red, yellow or green. Red apples were by far the crowd favorite. Some classes incorporated math by tallying their apple choices, weighing apples, measuring circumference while others researched apple facts or journaled. Principal Carpenter lead a count down with students from Mrs. Mangels and Mrs. Diemer's class and together the whole school crunched on apples!
