Athletes Helping Athletes at Tackan!
Imagine if you're a kindergarten student and members of the High School East football come in to read a book to you?
Or if "Whisper the Bull" gives you a high five and takes pictures!? That was just part of the Athletes Helping Athletes visit to Tackan Elementary this week.
High School East football coach Dan Busold brought some of his football players to read books to the kindergarteners. Whisper the Bull made an appearance and Athletes helping Athletes students spoke to 5th graders about the importance of self esteem and sportsmanship.
