Smithtown Central School District Middle School art teachers and students have helped brighten up the Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond and the Stony Brook Children's Hospital!
The teachers had the students create colorful and inspirational artworks and bookmarks when they had completed their daily classwork this year. Recently the framed pictures and additional artwork were donated to Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond so that new patients can select from them to decorate and brighten up their rooms.
More than 100 bookmarks and additional artwork were donated to the Stony Brook Children's Hospital. Child patients will be able to select a bookmark when receiving books during their visits.
