Art, culture, and holiday magic!
Students in Sallie Culloton’s Smithtown West German classes had the opportunity to travel to New York City on Monday, December 22, to experience the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, and the Bryant Park Winter Village, inspired by traditional Christmas markets in Germany.
While touring the Met, students were challenged to take selfies with German and German American painters. Many enthusiastic submissions were received, including this one from James Muscolino, Matt Caruso, and Luke Crawford. A great time was had by all!
