Congratulations to High School East tennis star Anya Konopka on placing seventh in the state tennis championships! Held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Anya won her match on Wednesday, 6-0, 6-3 to earn a medal.
A two-time county champion, Anya is arguably the most decorated female tennis player in Smithtown CSD history, according to SCSD Athletic Director, Jason Lambert.
