Fourth graders at Accompsett Elementary School dug into learning this week—literally!
In celebration of Earth Day Week, students explored the importance of trees and their role in our local environment, thanks to engaging lessons led by Dr. Filaski and Mr. Belyea.
To bring their learning to life, each student planted their own mini tree—one they’ll care for now and eventually take home to plant for years to come.
