AMS cross country team does it again!
For the fourth time in the last five years, the Accompsett Middle School boys and girls cross country team has been awarded the Smithtown Booster Club’s Fall Season Scholar Athlete Award.
The team earned an impressive combined overall GPA of 3.81.
At a ceremony held Thursday morning, Principal Brian Dolan praised the team, telling them, “I’m so excited to see what the future holds for you.”
Booster Club President Dave Miller presented the team with T-shirts as Kevin Simmons, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction & Administration, along with Principal Dolan and Assistant Principal Dr. Kristen Andriaccio, congratulated the students.
