A slam dunk at East!

Students and faculty members had a slam dunk of a time at the first annual “Tim Bassett Day,” featuring an exciting appearance by the Harlem MagicMasters.

Held at High School East, the special event honored the memory of beloved Athletes Helping Athletes (AHA) trainer Tim Bassett, whose legacy continues to inspire the school community.

For three decades, Tim made a lasting impact on AHA’s Student-Athlete Leadership Program through his remarkable ability to connect with and motivate the thousands of student leaders he mentored and trained.

It was a day filled with energy, laughter, and community spirit—all in support of a great cause and in celebration of a truly unforgettable mentor.
