A Superior Performance by East Musicians

Smithtown High School’s 9th and 10th grade string musicians from the Concert Orchestra recently showcased their talents at the Long Island Music Festival, held at Suffolk Community College.
Under the direction of Mr. Brian McCoy, the Concert Orchestra earned a Superior Rating, receiving an outstanding score of 95 out of 100 points. The ensemble was evaluated by adjudicators from Queens College and Five Towns College, who recognized the students’ musical excellence and dedication.
Following their impressive performance, the musicians celebrated their achievement with a fun-filled trip to Adventureland, enjoying time together and making lasting memories.
