A Stellar Lesson in Earth and Space Science!

Our Honors Earth and Space Science students at Smithtown High School West got hands-on with astronomy as they modeled the positions of the Earth, Moon and Sun to demonstrate phenomena such as lunar phases and eclipses!

Thanks to the creativity of Earth and Space Science, Lauren Hoffman, students brought these cosmic concepts to life through creative poses and teamwork.

Way to reach for the stars!
