In her speech, Mrs. Carpenter highlighted the bus drivers' unwavering commitment to student safety and well-being. "Each day, you embark on a journey to ensure our students travel safely to and from school," she stated. "Your commitment and care do not go unnoticed. You are the first friendly faces our children see as they start their school day, setting the tone for a day of learning and growth."

The celebration began with a special performance by the kindergarten students, who sang "The Wheels on the Bus" to express their gratitude. This was led by music teacher Ms. Miller. Adding to the festivities, the Leadership Club, under the guidance of Mrs. Velez, presented the bus drivers with survival goodie bags, certificates of appreciation, and a multitude of cards filled with messages of thanks. Principal Carpenter expressed the sentiments of the entire school community by saying, "On behalf of all the staff, students, and families at Dogwood Elementary School, a big thank you for your dedication and service."

This annual tradition continues to be a cherished occasion for showing appreciation and fostering community spirit at Dogwood Elementary.
