Students created their own clay tablet with written cuneiform in their 9th grade social studies class with Mrs. Keller and Mrs. Stack.
Cuneiform is the earliest known writing system and was originally developed to write the Sumerian language of southern Mesopotamia (modern Iraq).
Through these activities students evaluated how geography impacted the written language of Mesopotamia.
