The High School West virtual enterprise business class was selling their products Friday and the students were buying!
The virtual enterprise business class hosted its’ first open house of the season, promoting their student-run companies SAFE and Outdoor-Z.
Under the guidance of teachers Patrick Rose and Stefanie Torlentino, students have been able to create their own businesses and entrepreneurships.
The firm, SAFE, is a security company that focuses on protecting personal items and electronics with fingerprint locking technology.
Outdoor-Z is a company designed to make your outdoor experience more comfortable with, among other items, a hot and cold cooler and hydro smart jug with rechargeable battery and speaker.
Superintendent Mark Secaur attended the trade show, as did Assistant Superintendents Kevin Simmons, Paul Strader, Neil Katz and Director of CTE Christine LoFrese.
The Open House allowed students to promote their products as well as presented an opportunity for younger students to see what the course has to offer!
Last month, the Virtual Enterprise class at High School West received the honor of being ranked in the Top 40 for their Business Plan Presentation.
