Third graders at Mt. Pleasant Elementary have been researching famous African Americans who made an impact on or changed the music industry.
For Black History Month, students in Mr. Ciavarella's class presented their projects on musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles.
They discussed the life of the musician, historical impact and played some of their most famous songs!
