Fifth graders at Mills Pond Elementary School put on a wonderful Winter Concert Friday.
The band, orchestra and chorus played and sang to an auditorium packed with enthusiastic audience members.
Principal Irene Westrack welcomed everyone to the special event and then the musicians began!
Under the direction of Orchestra Director Mr. Terrett, the band performed
"Let’s Rock," "High Adventure" and "Power Rock." Next up was the fifth grade orchestra which performed "Fiddler’s Hoedown," "Two Terrific Tunes" and "Allegro."
After thunderous applause, Chorus Director Mrs. Messana brought the fifth grade chorus out to sing three songs: "Sofege Mambo," "Something Told the Wild Geese" and "Bhombela."
