Kindergarten students in Mrs. Biangazzo’s class at Saint James Elementary School received a special treat Friday afternoon by having Smithtown librarian read to them as part of PARP week.
Jessica Park, children’s librarian at Smithtown Library stopped by to read "The Detective Dog" to the class.
PARP Week officially kicked off this week for some SCSD schools.
PARP stands for Pick-A-Reading-Partner.
