Some of Long Island's best athletes paid a visit to Accompsett Elementary School on Thursday afternoon.
March 2nd is National Read Across America Day, and these local athletes stopped by to do their part.
Cross Country runner Sabrina Spezia along with members of the Stony Brook football team read books to fifth grade students.
Next week members of Stony Brook Athletics will return to read to fourth grade students.
