This year's summer music program, sponsored by the F.O.M.O.S., had just over 85 students attending, from grades 4-8, three days a week through the month of July.
Class sizes were small and the teachers made it a fun, safe learning environment.
Mr. Cassera, Mr. Sammarco and Mr. Dazzo all worked with these young students on the fundamentals of playing an instrument. Fundamentals such as: posture, breathing, how to hold the instrument, producing sound, reading musical notation, etc., were the focus. The more experienced students continued with more advanced concepts.
