The expansion of the fourth grade instrumental program is off to a soaring start. Under the guidance of Director of Fine Arts Michael Mastrangelo students are picking up their new instruments and having a blast.

Over at Accompsett Elementary, Orchestra and Band director Richard Cluxton is teaching fourth grade violin players the basics in a fun and educational way.

Next school year, fifth grade students will begin with a full year of instrumental music experience.

Mr. Mastrangelo: “This will provide our elementary students with an increased ability to participate musically in activities throughout the school year. We are very enthusiastic about developing new school traditions that our young student musicians may participate in.”
