The Mt. Pleasant Student Council recently donated the proceeds of the school’s annual food drive to the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry.
The students were also given a tour of the pantry by Ms. Angela, one of the food pantry’s volunteers, who explained to them how the food is distributed and how many people they help each month.
