This month is near and dear to the heart of Gina Keely, who's daughter Paige Elizabeth Keely, died in 2018 at the age of 6 from an undiagnosed brain AVM. Paige was a first grader at St. James Elementary School.
Since October is Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Awareness Month,
Mrs. Keely was kind enough to share her story and her hopes for preventing a tragedy like this on ever happening again.
