HSE and HSW Virtual Enterprise classes hit the road!
The Virtual Enterprise classes at High school West and East recently attended the Long Island Leadership Conference. The students were directed to breakout rooms based on their positions in their respective VE firms (CEO, COO, CTO, CFO, CMO) where they heard from professionals who have experience in those roles. They then were tasked with a challenge in teams with students from other schools across Long Island where they had to present a solution to the challenge to their peers.
Virtual Enterprise is a class in the School of Business, which is part of the CTE Department. Students enrolled in this course gain hands-on real world experience in all aspects of operating a virtual business.
