Mt. Pleasant kindergartners called it before the legendary Punxsutawney Phil: six more weeks of winter!
The students learned all about Groundhog Day, created a groundhog and then made their predictions if whether or not there will be six more weeks of winter.
Six more weeks was the winning vote, and this morning, Punxsutawney Phil – the legendary groundhog weather watcher – woke up and saw his shadow, calling for six more weeks of winter!
