The students pictured were chosen to represent Great Hollow Middle School and Smithtown CSD in the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association (SCMEA) all county festival.  Liana Cheng and Alison Tuthill were also chosen for the Long Island String Festival. 

Student acceptances are based on NYSSMA scores, musical achievements and teacher recommendation.
The county festival is Sunday, March 12 at Hauppauge High School.
