High School East FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) paired up with FCS (Family and Consumer Sciences) Clothing Construction students so they could give back this Thanksgiving.
The Clothing Construction students made makeup bags and FCCLA students filled them with feminine products, nail files, lip balm, and pens.
These items were greatly needed by the woman residents in the Bethany House homes. These homes provide emergency shelter for woman and children and help them transition into permanent housing and to become self-sufficient.
In all the students made 18 bags for the residents and they were delivered to them in time for Thanksgiving. Thank you to advisors Connie Smith and Jaclyn Grebosz.
