First in Math

Students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School participated in the "First In Math" statewide mathematics tournament on Thursday.
The tournament consists of grade-appropriate fluency games for students grades 1-5. The students prepared for the challenge by practicing skill set games.
SCSD STEM specialist Kathy Smerechniak assisted the Mt. Pleasant teachers to make sure everything went smoothly.
It did!
