Second grade students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School are learning about features of the earth today….and getting a hands on experience!
Western Suffolk Boces Outdoor Education Specialist John Shiels visited to teach the students about the "Earth Balloon" which stands 17-feet tall.
The students also were able to see animals and artifacts from all over the world such as a bearded dragon, a corn snake and a box turtle!
Thank you to Western Suffolk Boces & MTP Arts in Education program representatives Jenn Maringione & Kate Saar for bringing this idea to life!
