Conservation summit!
Students from High School West, under the guidance of teachers Kimberly Williams and Joanne Figueiredo visited the Department of Environmental Conservation’s office in Kings Park on Tuesday for a summit on conservation.
Ms. Williams' Marine Science students and Dr. Figueiredo's Research students were provided a chance to share the work & conservation efforts they’re doing to help learn more about the Long Island Sound and how they can protect it.
