Those are the words of Smithtown Central School District Superintendent Mark Secaur as he, the Board of Education and the SCSD community celebrated its newly tenured staff on Tuesday night.
The Board of Education also celebrated this academic year’s retirees as Assistant Superintendent Neil Katz introduced each member.
The newly approved tenure recipients are: Daniel Helmes, Matthew Furey, Jonathan Macaluso, Ann Diffley Atwood, Isabella Aviles, Dana Braun, Chelsea Carson, Jeanne Catalano, Caterina Como, Patricia-Marie Coppola, Colleen DeTommaso, Katelyn DiDonato, Jenna Echezuria, Christine Hamilton, Christopher Heedles Jr., Melissa Johnson-MacKenzie, Jennifer Kapps-Fleming, Kimberley Kaufmann, Christopher Lauto, Sabrina Lazarus, Lauren Lindstrom, Ashley Marchese, Kristin McErlean, and Meaghan Pelosi.
