Students at Mt. Pleasant Elementary School had quite the fun morning Thursday!
Lou Del Bianco is an actor, singer and storyteller whose show "Around the World" is an exciting and culturally responsive program combining storytelling, theater and music.
Mr. Del Bianco invites children to come on stage to help him act out stories from cultures that span the globe. Children discover when you read folktales, fairytales and fables, you learn about diversity, equity and inclusivity.
One interesting side note about Mr. Del Bianco: his grandfather, Luigi, was the chief carver on Mount Rushmore!
