Congratulations are in order for some students at Nesaquake Middle School.

Lyla Groneman, Riley Poole, Madelyn Geldmacher and Sophia Leodis are all winners in the 2022 Long Island Pine Barrens Society’s “Middle School Kids Go To College” Science Competition!

Lyla and Riley teamed up for their project "Harmful Agal Blooms."
Madelyn's project focused on "The Truth About Nitrogen Pollution."
Sophia's project was titled " Pleasure Boat Pollution" which focused on potential pollution from private boat owners.

Julianne DeSilva spearheaded this partnership as the advisor of the environmental club.
