Eighth graders in Ms. Ulloa’s class at Accompsett Middle School are working on Green Architecture and Magic of Electrons (G.A.M.E) under the Project Lead The Way program.

Architecture is the art and science of designing buildings. The basics of architectural design usually address feasibility and cost, as well as function and aesthetics.

Later in the year the students will work on creating a motor using paper clips, wire, magnets and batteries.

Project Lead The Way provides transformative learning experiences for PreK-12 students and teachers across the U.S. We create an engaging, hands-on classroom environment and empower students to develop in-demand knowledge and skills they need to thrive. Our professional development for teachers provides training, resources, and support to engage students in real-world learning.
