Students in Mary Ellen Nelson’s social studies classes at Great Hollow Middle School aimed to answer the historical question: Was Alexander the Great a hero or a villain?
As part of the project, the students created tribute and wanted posters with details supporting their claims.
One student in each class even dressed as Alexander the Great, the ancient Macedonian ruler, who built an expansive empire during his reign from 336 B.C. to 323 B.C.
