Smithtown Schools Select Honor Speakers

High School East and High School West have named this year’s honor speakers for the Class of 2020. Honor speakers are chosen by vote from their class peers.

West’s honor speaker Luke Muratore boasts a weighted GPA of 4.42. He serves as president of the National Honor Society, captain of the cross-country and track teams, team captain of Relay for Life, public relations officer of Math Honor Society, member of Athletes Helping Athletes, DECA and Italian Honor Society. In the fall, Luke will be attending the University of Maryland, College Park and majoring in computer science.

East’s honor speaker Erin Holler holds a weighted GPA of 4.26. Her school activities include co-president of the Math Honor Society, treasurer of Class Council, captain of swim team, school mascot, member of Athletes Helping Athletes and the Physics Olympic team, National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Erin will be attending the University of Scranton to study kinesiology.
