What is the Smithtown School of Business????

The School of Business takes on the "Whole Team" approach when it comes connecting business education with students.   The School of Business consists of faculty and business students who work together to promote business education through Smithtown High School's business courses, various business competitions throughout the year, industry mentoring programs, achievement awards, and the direct connection Smithtown has between industry and School of Business students. The Smithtown School of Business also promotes teamwork and leadership skills through business clubs such as, DECA, FBLA, and the School of Business Board of Directors.

Any student who enrolls in a  business course becomes a "School of Business Member" and has the opportunity to be a part of all business events, programs, clubs, and special presentations. 

Our primary focus in the School of Business is to give students real life skills and the opportunity to explore different careers and interests in order for them to make the most educated choice when it comes to picking a college and a career.  A students who is better informed is a students that will be able to set his/her goals and aspire to them.       

And let's not forget all of our clubs......
