High School East art teacher Tim Needles, along with six teachers from throughout the district, had their video art piece selected for inclusion in the Reimagining the Four Freedoms Exhibition. The exhibition runs from May 25 to Sept. 2 at the Franklin D. Roosevelt House in New York City. 

The exhibition is a modern interpretation of Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms speech and it will be on tour for two years traveling to museums across America and France. Approximately 1,000 submissions were received and reviewed and only 37 works by 36 artists were selected. 

Reachers involved in the project include: Tim Needles (art teacher, High School East), Kimberly Williams (science teacher, High School West), Steve Halem (art teacher, High School West), Chauncey Cone (social studies teacher, High School West), James Kelly (English teacher, High School East), Christina Cone (social studies teacher, High School West), and Rich Hurley (special education teacher, High School East).
