Bridge-Building, Community Efforts Recognized Photo
The Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island recently honored three students from High School West during its annual Holocaust Remembrance Day commemoration on May 4 at Suffolk County Community College in Selden.

High School West students Cory Calderone, Julia Negrin and Nicholas Gajda were selected to receive the Students Building Bridges Award. They were publicly honored for their efforts in building bridges across communities and creating a more civil society.

 Each student was recognized with a citation from an elected official and a certificate from the Jewish Community Relations Council of Long Island.
