Middle School Students Learn to Be Prepared
A representative from the American Red Cross trained students at Accompsett Middle School in citizen preparedness on March 1.

During their respective health periods throughout the day, students learned about making an emergency plan, what to do in a fire vs. a disaster situation and how to evacuate safely. They learned how they could work with their parents to put a plan in place in case of an emergency as well as what supplies they would need to keep their family safe. Accompsett students also learned about the basics of first aid. Each student received a certificate of completion from the American Red Cross.
