Students show off their ‘colors’

Nine Smithtown students had their artwork selected for inclusion in the “Colors of Long Island” art show at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook.

The following district students will have their work on display: Accompsett Elementary: Jordon Ford (Grade 5) and Catherine Briones (Grade 5); Mt. Pleasant: Braden McCormick (Grade 5) and Olivia Bozzo (Grade 4); Smithtown Elementary: Rachel Wohlrab (Grade 3) and Kayla Pardini (Grade 4); High School East: Kayla Boyle (Grade 11) and Ilysa Sirota (Grade 11) and Victoria Forrest (Grade 9).

The exhibit will be on display in the visitor’s center from Feb. 24 through April 16. The museum is hosting an opening reception for Eastern Long Island art students on March 5.
