Fun, Games and Pizza at Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Mills
It was a party to remember for the second-graders in Seth Paster’s second-grade class at Mills Pond. On Dec. 1, the class hosted a stuffed animal sleepover. The students each brought in their favorite stuffed animals and wrote descriptive pieces about them. In the afternoon before they left school for the day, they tucked in their animals for the sleepover.

When they arrived at school the next morning, the second-graders were shocked to discover that the animals had a party. Stuffed animals were reading books and playing games on the carpet. One of them had even phoned in an order of pizza. The class then wrote stories about what had really happened in their classroom that night.
