All Fun and Games at West’s Homecoming

Carnival games, face painting, rock climbing, an obstacle course and a dunk tank – complete with West faculty and administrators – kicked off the homecoming celebration on Sept. 24 at High School West. In lieu of a parade, clubs and organizations at High School West set up booths and activities to attract students and spectators alike.

High School West’s varsity football team took on the Thunderbirds from Half Hollow Hills East. Despite their best efforts, the West Bulls were defeated 41-14. During the halftime celebration, Ava Witonsky and Tom Bernard were crowned the homecoming king and queen.

The West varsity cheerleaders kicked off the halftime show, followed by the five-time champion Whisperettes.
