Thanksgiving ‘Corn’-ucopia

Tying into their Native American history lesson, second-graders at Branch Brook participated in a corn tasting on Nov. 23.

In lieu of a traditional Thanksgiving feast, the classes tried different corn products including corn kernels, corn flakes, popcorn, candy corn, corn salsa, corn bread, corn stuffing and corn chips. After the feast, the students created a graph of their favorite variety.
