The first graders at Dogwood Elementary School engaged in different learning centers focused on their 100th day of school. Rotating between three classrooms, the students participated in literacy, art and math lessons. During their art center, the students constructed a portrait of what they would look like when they are 100 years old. For the literacy lesson, students wrote a 100-day bucket list, penning ideas about where they wanted to go, what they wanted to see and things they wanted to have. In the last station, students worked with a partner, estimating how many rolls of the dice it would take to get to the number 100.
